🥗Nutrition Series: Part 2

Protein: The Building Block
If you’re working on strength, fitness, muscle, or recovery, protein deserves a place at the table.
Protein provides amino acids your body uses to build and repair tissues, including muscle.
And here’s something important: getting stronger isn’t only about the workout. It’s also about how you recover from it.
Make protein part of your meals.
Good sources include:

Chicken or turkey
Fish and seafood
Eggs
Greek yogurt
Cottage cheese
Lean meats
Beans and lentils
Tofu and other soy foods
Milk or fortified alternatives
Rather than trying to consume everything at one meal, consider including a quality protein source throughout the day.
Especially as we get older…
Maintaining muscle becomes increasingly important for strength, movement, balance, and independence.
Your goal isn’t simply to make the scale go down.
Your goal is to build a body that can carry you through life.

Train your muscles.
Feed them.
Recover.
Repeat!
And remember: nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective.
Small choices made consistently can create big changes over time.
